Toshiba is a popular manufacturer of laptop computers. Just like any other electronic item, it is important to clean laptop computers regularly. The Toshiba Tecra S1 Keyboard tend to attract a lot of dirt, dust and other debris. Cleaning Toshiba NB200 Keyboard can be done quickly and will leave the keyboard dust and dirt free.

Place the tip of the compressed-air can about 2 to 3 inches from the keys on the keyboard. Tilt the can, pull the trigger and move it across the Toshiba Satellite P305 Keyboard. Work in a horizontal fashion, directing the air in between the keys. Continue this process until you have cleaned in between all of the keys.

Turn your laptop upside down, holding it over a sink or trash can. Lightly tap on the bottom of the laptop to dislodge any remaining debris that may have been loosened while using the compressed air.

Dampen a 100% cotton rag with water. Make sure that the rag is only slightly dampened; too much water will cause damage to the Toshiba laptop.

Wipe down the entire Toshiba Satellite A20 Keyboard with the damp rag. Make sure to wipe the top of the keys and all along the perimeter of the keyboard.

Go over the entire keyboard with a dry, 100% cotton rag. Allow the laptop to air dry the rest of the way.

Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the keyboard retaining screws in the space from which you removed the edge or hinge cover. On most laptops, there are usually two to four screws that secure the Toshiba Portege M200 keyboard. Set the screws aside in a safe place.
Use the awl or flathead screwdriver to lift up the top edge of the keyboard. Gently lift the top of the keyboard toward you until you can access the ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the laptop motherboard.
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard. Set the old keyboard aside.
Insert the new Toshiba Satellite S205 Keyboard into the laptop and connect the ribbon cable to the motherboard. Carefully align the screw holes on the top edge of the keyboard with those at the base of the laptop screen where you removed the edge or hinge cover.
Reinsert the retaining screws you removed earlier and tighten them with the Phillips screwdriver.
Align the Toshiba Portege R200 Keyboard edge cover or hinge cover and snap it back into place. Close the LCD screen and turn the laptop over. Insert the battery back into its slot and ensure the lock snaps shut.
Reconnect the AC adapter and other peripherals. Power on the laptop and use it as you normally would.
